Rhubarb Chutney II
Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

Cooking Directions:

3 cups chopped fresh rhubarb
2 cups finely-chopped onion
2 cups brown sugar - (packed)
2 cups vinegar
1 tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon ground allspice

In a heavy, medium saucepan, stir together all ingredients and bring to a
boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 30 to 40 minutes or until thick,
stirring occasionally.

This recipe can also be processed by placing in sterile hot jars, hot
water bath for 10 minutes.
